“Peaceful, comfortable, beautiful, and very kind hosts! We loved staying with Marida and her family, they were very welcoming and their home is stunning. It’s easy to get to several nice hill towns in the area like Montepulciano and you can walk to Pienza which was lovely (up a hill though). My only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay!”

“Check in and out was excellent, they were very flexible about meeting times. The apartment was centrally located (but still quiet!) with access to laundry, perfect split ductless AC (different temps in different rooms!), a dishwasher, and plenty of common space. The views from the apartment were amazing. There was a nearby church and bells every 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m (and various other times in between, which seemed to change everyday) which was lovely. “The apartment is large. Basically 3 separate rooms. 2 on the second floor and 1 on the 3rd floor. I would not recommend for someone that cannot do steps, especially the third floor bedroom, as the bathroom has 3 steps to get down to it. It was a beautiful bathroom but just be aware. I cannot say enough about the host, Syed! He bent over backward to transport us to where we wanted to go. (We did a cooking class about 15 minutes from the city! I highly recommend.) “Our stay at Casamaggiore was perfect. The property was traditionally and simply styled, well supplied and met all our needs. The facilities were as advertised and we delighted in using the pool and tennis courts. The property is perfectly situated for day trips to explore the region. “Ideally located at the top of the old town. Five minute walk to the main square. Five minute walk to plenty of free parking along the town wall. Great views across the Tuscan valley from all rooms with complete privacy. Well stocked with supplies in the kitchen,laundry etc.The host was born in the town and speaks perfect English.He was easily accessible with great recommendations of his beloved home.
