Hotel is on the north side of Caye Caulker and it’s very quiet. Would definitely stay there again.”

“Our family stayed here and had a wonderful time. It's just as described, and Aileen, Randy, and their staff were all very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. Our 4yo especially enjoyed spending lots of time in the pool! (Incidentally, we loved being able to enjoy the rooftop space, along with 2 patios off of our condo.) “Sunset Caribe in Belize offers a serene tropical getaway with stunning ocean views and a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with a full kitchen if needed. The staff was friendly and attentive. They do offer golf carts so make sure to book your golf carts in advance as they do run out pretty quickly. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. “This place is not as advertised. Terrible wifi. Dilapidated exterior and surroundings. No beach access! Mosquito infestation m. I checked out the very next day and would have nit even stayed that night but was stranded. It’s a deserted island. Period! Don’t stay here!!!!!’nnnn”

“Moody blue cottage was the perfect fit for us. If we come back to caye caulker, this is where we want to stay. Every thing about this property was great. Be sure to arrange snorkeling trip with Francis and wish we had known that we could arrange fishing with him before booking through a local company. “The cottage worked well for us, and Michael was very helpful - brought more spoons and water when needed etc. We liked the low key nature of Caye Caulker but having come from another Island where the children could play and swim freely, the pool at the cottage was too deep and coated in sharp concrete that caused grazes, and the only place to swim on the Island is the split where the music was so loud at the weekends- so I’d recommend for adults and backpackers but not really for children.”
