âWe chose to stay at Bishop Arts Hotel because we needed a room with a sitting area, which it had and was quite comfortable. The hotel is along a streetcar line and has a parking lot for guests so it is easliy accessible.
There is no food onsite at the hotel, and the 'nearby' food options are more than a short walk away (only a 5-7min drive, but a 20-30 minute walk) which is not as convenient as we had hoped for.
While the rooms are clean the textiles are a bit worn. The hand towels were fraying...
âSo this is a very chill, relaxed and serene place. Not really able to compare it to anywhere we've ever stayed before. First off - it's clean. Lots of dark wood and reserved lighting. They are dialed-in regarding tech, so you can take care of most/all of your dealings (check-in/out) w/ your phone. Front office staff was polite/courteous/helpful. Rooms are not huge. âIt was verry dificult to park the car when you not have a frontdesk and no were to put the car when you fix the practical things. I donÂŽt like hotels without peopele to talk to also when you have other language in the bottom and not understanding everything. itÂŽs was also verry difficult to understand which elevator system to use for parking and guest floor.â

âAfter reading other reviews, I was worried we made a bad choice staying here. However, after our stay I'm going to assume those were just extremely picky people.
The staff was welcoming and accommodating. Yes, the towel count in the room when we first got there was only 1 of each towel. This was quickly brought up to us after a quick request.
A few reviews mentioned the air not working properly. I will agree here. It was warm in the room but only when trying to sleep.
