“Don’t stay there looks like nothing in the pictures. Bugs in room and smelt like cigarettes. Sheets stained lights broke. Everything wrong with it. They didn’t accept our online confirmation also so had to pay AGAIN in cash.”

“They had missed cleaning the room enough, after someone had probably puked. I showed a photo at the reception, and they only said ”sorry about that”, and there were no compensation whatsoever. They also called us to say that we had unpaid bills, just so we ”knew”, before checking out. It was 8 USD, they had not been able to charge. I called Amex to check, and they could see that they had tried, but it was not Amex who denied using the card, but Hyatts terminal according to Amex. Really...

“We chose to stay at Bishop Arts Hotel because we needed a room with a sitting area, which it had and was quite comfortable. The hotel is along a streetcar line and has a parking lot for guests so it is easliy accessible. There is no food onsite at the hotel, and the 'nearby' food options are more than a short walk away (only a 5-7min drive, but a 20-30 minute walk) which is not as convenient as we had hoped for. While the rooms are clean the textiles are a bit worn. The hand towels were fraying...

“It was verry dificult to park the car when you not have a frontdesk and no were to put the car when you fix the practical things. I don´t like hotels without peopele to talk to also when you have other language in the bottom and not understanding everything. it´s was also verry difficult to understand which elevator system to use for parking and guest floor.”

“I'm so happy Dallas has a hostel and Bishop Arts is the perfect neighborhood for it. Checking in and out was super easy and straightforward. The entire property is clean and I saw housekeeping doing work every day and at different times to ensure cleanliness for guests. Parking was easy and plentiful. Lots of restaurants and shops to pop into within a mile.”

“Booked a room for 3 persons but there were only one bed? Had to pay 1600kr extra just for one more bed so we all could sleep. Terrible service in front desk and breakfast, 140kr for a coffee is not ok ”

“The beds were extremely comfortable although I was confused about why the sheet on my bed was on top of the comforter. That was not true of the other bed in the room. I had looked online to be able to avoid the trend that I had heard about of bathrooms in hotels often not have doors or even being glassed in, not opaque as bathrooms should be no matter who is staying in the room. I was staying with my teenage grandson so it was especially important that we have a private bathroom. From the photos...

“Overall good hotel but not top class service. Not clear instructions at the front desk, didn’t tell us where to go, where our room was and what to expect, we had cleaner/handyman knocking 5 times at the door starting 8.30am the same day we were checking out. Other than that, beautiful hotel and location and clean place. ”

“I stayed here about 1.5 years ago and several times before that. Last time it was not so great. Much improved this time.”
