“My family and I went to Waterloo for a short weekend getaway to visit the water and amusement park. This house was perfect. Perfect size with lots of room for the kids to play inside and outside. WONDERFUL location if visiting the parks. Was easy commute if needed to take a break from the parks, eat some lunch, and go back! The host was very responsive and helpful when needed. Highly recommend. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at this at the house. We loved being in a wooded area by the river. The screened-in patio overlooking the water was the perfect place to relax with a morning coffee or evening conversation. We especially loved gathering around the fire pit, reminiscing under the stars—it created such a cozy and memorable atmosphere. This home is ideal for get-togethers, with just the right balance of comfort and nature. We would definitely return!”

“We had a wonderful day! It was a lovely March day in the 70s and we spent the afternoon outside on the picnic table watching the river and all the birds!! The house and the grounds are lovely. I’d highly recommend it to anyone.”

“Check in was simple, kitchen had everything we needed besides something to clean the grill with, which maybe we just overlooked. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Main bedroom/bathroom was perfect for us. Sauna was a nice amenity! Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels. ”

“The property was as described and offered the opportunity for the entire family to stay together. Check in/out was efficient and convenient. We would consider staying here again in the future when visiting Cedar Falls. ”

“Wonderful property for a large family. We had 4 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and have privacy. The view of the river was beautiful and we even did some fishing off the bank. The location is very private with only one neighbor.It was very hot weather during our stay but the additional a/c units kept it sufficiently cool. The projector room was a huge hit with the teens. The shared living room space was cozy.Plenty of space in the kitchen for cooking large meals....

“Where to start! Relaxing front porch, deck and backyard. Well equipped kitchen with an open area concept to the dining room and sitting space that kept us enjoying each other’s company while cooking. ”

“My husband and I stayed overnight for our anniversary. The place was beautiful and serene. We enjoyed the hot tub, and watching the sunset from the patio area. Our hosts were lovely and we even got to say hello to their sweet dogs. Wonderful experience! ”
