“Melissa was a great host, easy to make arrangements with and very helpful. The home was beautiful and well equipped for us and our 3 grandchildren age 17-10. The ATV was a real plus. Love the location too.”

“Our group of 16 had a great stay at this spacious home. The comfortable bedrooms were easily shared, and though the house was warm during the day, it was comfortable at night. The kitchen was adequately equipped, but could benefit from additional basic items like pots, pans, and measuring cups.”

“We had an engagement party, our stay was great we were party of 12. Everyone had a place to sleep the kitchen was great and the house was spotless. Would stay here again”

“We had a wonderful time. Dogs were welcome and the view of the lake was lovely. I did think there was going to be a hot tub.....(maybe I misread something).Laura was wonderful to work with and got right back to me with answers to any questions I had. Definately stay again when it's a little cooler. Plenty of room, blankets, and towels. Host even provided coffee. “While we stayed in Des Moines we attended a sporting event eight at a ton of great spots within walking distance went to the downtown farmers market and also a concert at water Works. This location is a prime spot for doing nearly everything you wanna do in Des Moines.”

“Stayed for a 4 day baseball tournament at Pleasant Meadows and this house made the entire tournament relaxing. The house was super cute, comfortable and have everything we needed to wind down from and prepare for a day of baseball. Owner left great recommendations for food and things to do. They were very prompt answering any questions and it is close to EVERYTHING! Definitely a go to house for a quiet yet convenient vacation.”
