We have never been to the area and is a bit remote so I'd recommend bringing food and supplies initially if you need. Great getaway spot to disconnect with plenty of amenities and fully furnished kitchen.”

“Another wonderful week in Davis............despite a few days of unsettled weather. This was our 3rd stay at Sound Escape. "We loved the place! Right in the marina with pool IN the marina! We were promised Harbor view, but we were a little bit cheated on that because we had to go out of the room to get the view. Perfect location, great pool area, near restaurants and sights. A place like Ocracoke is worth a longer stay! Good w bikerentals and golfcarts because narrow streets"
