“The hotel was historic and attractive. The weather didn't cooperate very well, but we did enjoy sitting on the porch when the sun peaked out. Our room was attractive and the bed was comfortable but if you have any mobility issues, be aware that you have to use a step stool to get in and out of bed. That wasn't a problem for us, but would have been for some relatives we know. Being from out of state, we didn't realize how much hurricane damage Cedar Key had endured over the last couple of years....

“The hotel was a historic amazing property. I loved the ambiance but the room was a little odd. The shower and sink were in the bedroom and the bathroom had a 12 or 15 inch step up to it and a weird little door that left you no privacy. But I will stay there again because it is a beautiful old property rich in history. It housed soldiers during the war between the states! The kitchen area was used as an infirmary. The staff was great and it was located in the middle of everything”

“Cutest little hotel room I’ve ever rented. Very rustic with a little boutique feel to it. Wait staff were all super nice even though we didn’t have a reservation for the bar- we were able to sneak in for a drink and check out the place. Great location and friendly people! I hope to be back! ”

“Very pleasant staff. Everyone was cheerful and made you feel welcomed. We made reservations for dinner in the bar area which was suggested by the staff and it turned out to be very nice.A great place for couples, not so much for families with young children. If you want a romantic get away , this is the place to go.”
