“This is the most beautiful home ever. We saw turkeys and even a golden eagle in a tree. The property is quiet and peaceful. Clean and modern. We enjoyed our stay very much, we never got to have a fire because it wasn’t cold enough but would love to have had one. The outdoor deck is so amazing to have. The mountains are beautiful in the morning. ”

“All the information I needed to get in to the cabin was sent to me prior to arriving which made it easy since there wasn’t much service at the property itself. The cabin was beautiful and fully equipped with everything you would think you may need for your trip! They made it easy to enjoy your time. There was a private hot tub on the property which was awesome! Overall, the experience and location was amazing and would return in the future! ”

“My youngest son turned 40, so we all went to Salida for a family vacation.. The cabin was awesome lots to do around it. Played corn hole, creek near by and nice hot tub. Whole family really enjoyed the trip.”

“Thanks for the quiet and comfy place as a sweet rereat for a few days. It was convenient to Salida (art!). We took a pretty hike along the river and enjoyed some good eats in town (the newish Tacos Tapatio!!!). We appreciated staying away from town at night - quiet, babble of the stream, being amongst all those lovely, lime green aspen, and a very comfortable bed to sleep in. For sure, we'd come again! Also, the short welcome video for Creekside was really helpful!”

“This property is in a great location. A few miles from Monarch for great skiing and plenty of trails for snowshoeing in the area. We also love the close proximity of Salida, our favorite mountain town. Beautiful accommodations and private hot tub cannot be beat!”

“Great spot between monarch and Salida. Hot tub worked great. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub not as private as the picture implies. Highway quite loud (woke kids up several times). Internet spotty at best. Kitchen had pots/pans/ dishes but zero condiments. Hard to prepare your own meals with nothing to add (ie olive oil, salt, pepper, ketchup etc). It would be impossible to cook many meals there unless you brought your own spices and condiments. Found it odd since that’s part of the draw to...

“Our family had a wonderful stay. The chalet is charming with comfy beds, nice bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen and two living areas. The location is spectacular. The house is in the woods with lovely views of the mountains and the wrap-around deck was perfect for sitting and relaxing. The cute town of Palmer Lake was 5 minutes one direction and I25 was 5 minutes the other direction. We would absolutely stay here again!”
