“I only got three days for my vacation this year and really wanted something different. This little cottage is truly a solitary getaway - and yet, in the midst of a working farm!! It is brand new and set up for every convenience. The sourdough bread and farm-fresh eggs were such a great extra and SO good!! We were blessed with a spectacular sunset (pretty sure that was not included in the extras) and the weather cooperated for a memorable stay. The roosters greeted the morning but were far...

“The house has a very large open living room upstairs, plenty of bedrooms for us. The backyard is large, although most of it fairly steep slope towards the lake. The lake was up several feet when we stayed, so the beach in the photos was under water. Pella is a 7-8 minute drive away. Overall we liked the property.”

“The house was clean, comfortable, and had beautiful views right on the water. Kitchen was easy to use and had all the basics we needed. We found fun stores to poke around in and good places to eat in Clarion and Belmond. We also enjoyed the county park at the end of the lake. ”
