“My sister and I planned this as part of our "week of adventures" get away and had a lovely stay. The location and check-in would have been perfect had we arrived during daylight hours, however due to airline cancellations and delays we arrived past dark. We loved staying here and would highly recommend, the river was perfect! Just know you are far into the countryside and not close to any markets so plan to be onsite during your stay. Sadly the trails listed are almost unusable as the roads were...

“The check in process was smooth, quiet neighborhood. Floor had footprints as we came in, was very greasy and dirty. Entire place had a very rancid smell or urine or decaying animals. Appliances and bathroom was clean. On the second day we had to leave early due to maggots being everywhere on the floor, even though we had throughly taken care of our trash. Would not recommend unless the owner cleans up the place and addresses the smell.”

“The location was perfect, very close to the ocean and walkable distance to many restaurants and shops. I loved that there was a designated parking spot so we didn’t have to worry about finding parking. The communication with the host was easy and they were quick to respond.”

“room was exactly as pictured. Room was quite cold until a couple hours in until the small space heater started to make a change. Hard to navigate where the unit is in the winter since it is dark by 5pm. Needs a more descriptive check in instructions for the sake of checking in when it is night time. Friendly farm cats that greeted me upon arrival. peaceful in the daytime.”

“The condition of the property was excellent. Clean, warm, and welcoming inside. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable, and the shower in the master bedroom was wonderful. One minor problem: the second bathroom didn't have an electrical outlet, so could not run the hair dryer. “Clean and well appointed accomodation. Super easy check in and checkout. Neighborhood in great location, easy and fast to get everywhere in Turlock. No "hot tub" per say, but a very nice bathtub for a relaxing bubble bath! Will stay again!”

“Yurt was as expected and pictured on listing. The bathroom was a little further than expected (and slightly uphill) which could make it difficult for someone who needs to go in the middle of the night. Otherwise, we really enjoyed this unique experience. I wish I would've know there was a mini-fridge, a microwave and some other kitchen items in the unit - we would've planned a dinner around that. A great location for visiting Sequoia. ”
