“Adorable cabin, way bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside, adorable retro kitchen, stocked with all the odds and ends you could need. My boyfriend love the double spa-like shower and the kind size bed up in the loft is super comfortable. The location was great, very private feeling and cozy inside.”

“We stayed for three nights and wished it was longer! This home sits right on the edge of Lake Alder. Occasional boats and fisherman come and go, and it is very quiet and peaceful. We brought paddle boards to use, and also used one of the ones supplied by the owner. The home worked well for three of us. “Everything a family needs under a beautiful canopy of majestic Fir trees. The hot tub early in the morning then an afternoon of kayaking with the local bay seals and an evening of grilling and family dinners with seats for all the kids and baby is all you can ask for in life. This is the definition of Quiet time. We stayed here with 5 kids 10 and under and never felt crammed. ”

“This little house is so cozy and comfortable and the view was absolutely spectacular. The location is perfect. Just minutes from town for groceries and restaurants. Also close to multiple parks with great hiking trails. We were in town to visit my son who is stationed at JBLM. We went to the city for a baseball game and a couple of sightseeing tours but mostly we enjoyed hanging at this little oasis in the woods. Highly recommend!! ”

“We stayed a short week and became so relaxed. It was warm but we were able to be very comfortable The constant parade of wildlife was wonderful The double shower was a true treat. We slept well and deeply in the comfortable bed. The owner brought us 2 deck chairs so we could sit outside ..read and work.
