“The view at this place is amazing! We loved all the space and outdoor sitting areas it had, as well as the many cats, puppies, goats, and horses around!Since it is older, the house reflects that in some ways. The outlets in the upstairs bedroom don’t work, as well as quite a few other outlets in the house. We also had no running water for a day. Lastly, the address listed on VRBO is not accurate! It’s 10-15 minutes further into the mountain (it is accurate if you put “Villa Malaxa” into maps)....

“Excellent location with beautiful views. Perfect for a relaxing family holiday. The pool and outside areas, including the terrace, we're brilliant for our stay. We were greeted by a lovely lady who told us about the area and said to let her know if we needed anything, which we appreciated. The villa itself is pretty and decorated well. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom in the main villa could do with modernisation. Lots of small villages nearby to visit and Chania is an easy drive...

“The house is perfect in all ways. It looks better in real life than the pictures. Everything you need is the villa, including washing machine. Decor was simple, practical and stylish. Spacious rooms and wonderfully functioning AC in all rooms. If you have very young children or have difficulty walking the stairs could be a problem, but not for us. “A beautiful house in the mountains. If you want peace and quiet this is perfect. The views are incredible. Despoina is a wonderful host who generously made us homemade cakes! This part of Crete is not busy but the local tavernas offer wonderful food (cheaper than in the main areas). The mornings are cooler in the mountains so this is a good area for walking.”

Bestens und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, toller Pool und prompte und immer freundliche und hilfreiche Antworten auf alle Fragen die wir so hatten. Sowohl direkt von den Besitzern als auch von der Versorgung vor Ort. Sehr gemütliche Tavernas in der Nähe die wir gern mehrfach besucht haben.
