âLove the location of the property, away from main road and set back, not far from Brinchang town. Beautiful property ground, love our room facing the mountain! Staff was very friendly. Service and food at The Lantern Chinese restaurant was very good. Breakfast buffer was good but could improve with more rotation of different varieties of food. We stayed 3 nights and breakfast quickly became very repitative.â

The hotel buildings as well as the garden has been given a lot of care, although the surrounding area is, at least for the time being, not as nice as the hotel itself: constructions are going on by the lake, making the area a bit less charming than it probably is normally. âEverything about this hotel is awesome. Except for.... you must make sure you tell the Grab driver the correct hotel. There are 2 locations of 1969s. lol.... I booked the wrong one and went to the wrong one. They are so nice that they helped me transferred my room to the correct location from the incorrect one. â
âThe building was beautiful, the staff were fantastic. Itâs across from a park and walkable to all the town has to offer.
Small quibbles were the internet - kept going in and out, and while the breakfast was more than plentiful, the food was not kept warm.
