“To start, the location was in a very rough neighborhood with a lot of homeless people around the house. We did not feel safe even during the day. Property needs a big renovation as the pictures do not represent reality. Things are falling apart. Rugs and couch were stained and dirty. No utensils, plates, cups and silverware. The ones that was there was broken or dirty. They mentioned a pool in the description but I am pretty sure that no one would be able to enter on it as it seemed to be a...

“The house was in a great location. The hosts were avaible whenever I had questions and even mades sure the sidewalk and steps were salted and sholved when a snow storm hit. We would definaetly stay here again when we return to the area!”

“Everything was great. Rooms are spacious and clean. The homeowner responded to questions within 15 minutes. Our we arrived at the house sooner than expected and he graciously allowed us to enter the house early. There are two offstreet parking spots and a cute little patio.. Only thing that we could’ve used that was not there was a baby gate for the stairs. He had a highchair and a pack and play which were greatly appreciated. ”

Situated in an older neighborhood, of which Philadelphia has many, house was clean and nicely equipped and appeared to be recently renovated. “Although the house was beautiful and very clean, the check-in experience was extremely frustrating. The host delayed providing the entry code well past check-in time and refused to release it even after payment was completed. While security cameras are understandable, the extent of surveillance was not properly disclosed. The host repeatedly questioned whether we would be having a party simply because the booking was on New Year’s, which appeared to influence the refusal to provide access. This...
