“We had the 2 bedroom suite downstairs. Very quiet and comfortable. Perfect for sleeping. Dark and cool. Very clean. Breakfast was nothing the brag about. Store bought danish/mini muffins/bagels/english muffin. Choice of eggs. Didnt see a meat or potato choice. Just eggs cooked your way or Western omlet. First day there was no bread for toasting. Coffee and juice. There was a keurig in the room, so no need to go upstairs until 9 am ehen breakfast is served. Beautiful countryside. I would stay...

“The breakfast menu was awesome. Amanda is an amazing cook ! I stayed at the Amberson House for 3 nights and was very happy about my experience there. The house its self is a beatiful old home and funished beautifully wth antiques . Everone was very welcoming and friendly. ”

“Lovely Luxury with a spacious sunset suite. Very comfortable bed and sofa. Wish there were one or more sofa tables.
staff were delightful, will definitely come again. Please add a cafe for guests not wanting a large expensive dinner. Breakfast Food was very good. Kitchen well equipped for beverage and snack storage, and very clean.”

“The Antietam Overlook Inn is a wonderful B&B perfectly situated on a hilltop in the Maryland Piedmont, just minutes away from Antietam Nat'l Battlefiield, Sharpsburg MD and Shepherdstown WV. The wilderness setting is stunning -- I saw more wildlife in one hour drinking my morning coffee than I saw in an entire day in Shenandoah Nat'l Park. “We never seen anyone other than a strange old man sitting in a room off the kitchen who didn’t speak.Honest review of someone who loves B&Bs and the charm.
Pros-Before arrival the host was very tentative with answering questions. Such as we needed an iron but they had a steamer (big plus). They had snacks and drinks to grab headed out the door. The house was very clean no cob webs or dust in sight!!
