“Clean room ”

“Kempinski Chongqing is a nice hotel a bit from the classic city center. Very few people on the staff speak English, which makes it very hard to get the usual service that you expect from a Kempinski hotel. As an example, there is no room service menu in English so it is impossible to order any service to the room. The hotel is 10 years old and that might be seen in the bathrooms. And the cleaning is not the best, so don't expect a normal Kempinski level. However, the staff is nice, even though...

I stayed at a Marriott property, and while the room was smaller than expected for the brand, it was generally clean and functional. Unfortunately, the kettle in the room didn’t work, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, it was an okay stay nothing exceptional, but decent for a short visit.”

“Fancy hotel with nice view over the river. Perfect to go for a run along the river in front of the hotel. Room was spacious and built to look luxurious. Wasn't a hundred percent clean in all the corners though, and the bathroom door could almost not be shut. ”
