“We were at Susan and Brian’s beautiful cottage for a weekend and had the coziest, most wonderful stay. The sun shines in every room and at night, the stars are the clearest we’ve ever seen them. Susan was very welcoming and accommodating. The place itself was very comfortable and had everything you could need for a quick getaway. Would definitely stay again!”

“Our five-night stay at the RoundHat Cottage was beyond our expectations. The description and photos are accurate, though photos cannot capture the utter beauty and serenity this cottage has to offer. After spending our days exploring the parks at Yosemite, King’s Canyon and Sequoia, coming “home” was just as restorative, especially with sweet donkeys and beautiful sunsets (don’t miss the sunset from the deck at “Rocky Top”). “Hidden a little past Mariposa. Houses are spread out in the area. Very quiet and peaceful. I loved it.”

“We loved the house and definitely will be requesting again when we go back out to Merced. Everything was close by. The beds were comfortable, loved that we had a washer and dryer to use, and we cooked breakfast everyday. Due to the circumstances of being in Merced, it allowed the whole family to be able to gather and be together. Great place!”

“Overall, our stay was great. The owners have gone to great extents to upgrade this cute old house. We pondered what it must have looked like back in the day it was built. We liked the historical artwork hanging. We were traveling with our two little kids. One slept in a pack-n-play that we brought, the other in a twin bed. I slept in the other twin bed, while my husband enjoyed the queen to himself. It was a good size for us. We didn't spend all that much time at the house, as we were visiting...

“We had a great time staying at Acorn Cottage. We stayed with our two young children and it was perfect. The space was clean and comfortable and Regina was very helpful and kind throughout the stay. Only recommendation is buying ice and bringing larger cups with you if you’re like me and prefer large morning iced coffees😉 10/10 recommend and would stay here again.”

“First time in a tiny house. Overall, enjoyed the experience. Property owners were great, super responsive. Easy to find and check in was a breeze. I needed a little help understanding the composting toilet and TV/VCR, but they responded quickly. Relatively close to the South Entrance of Yosemite, so hiking in Wawona and even Glacier Point very doable. Drove one day to the Valley...that one was a long haul.”
