“I stayed at 5 different accommodations during my visit to Japan, and Ryokan Plum was by far my favourite - it was a shame that I could only stay for one night! I stayed in the traditional tatami room, which exceeded all of my expectations. It was beautiful! The host (I forget her name) who greeted me upon my arrival was very kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend Ryokan Plum to anyone visiting the Hakone/Odawara area. ”

They helped to call my last hotel, seeked for their help to the room I stayed lastly, and arranged with them to send it back by courier. Thank you very much for their nice help. “Family of four (with 8yo twins) stayed here in November 2025. It's a beautiful inn, comfortable and clean and quiet, with friendly staff and good food for breakfast and dinner. The bath is lovely -- staff help you book a time in the evening at check in, and it's available on a first come first served basis in the morning.
