As featured on the BBC's Escape to the Country and Farmer's Country Showdown, this special tucked away smallholding is also home to three Gold Award holiday cottages, Shire horses, Valaise Blacknose sheep, critically endangered Soay sheep, Aylesbury ducks, a mix of chickens and three dogs.

Only a few miles away from Church Stretton you can watch wild ponies graze on the Shropshire Hills, soak up the spectacular views, or just walk the 1/2 mile to our local, much loved pub The Bottle & Glass, with open fires and home-cooked food. As we live on the farm we'll be here to help you find the very best places to walk your dogs, ride your bikes, fly your kites or simply discover this spectacular county.

The Barn is a luxurious holiday cottage that sleeps up to six guests welcoming all families, children and friends. The Barn is a dog friendly cottage and we advise no more than two dogs. Fitted out with carefully selected quality furniture, oak flooring, soft furnishings, showing off the beautiful beams in this stunning timber-framed, grade two listed building. The Barn also has fibre Wifi.

Step through the entrance hall and into the extremely well equipped kitchen (with induction hob, electric oven, microwave, Tassimo coffee machine, two fridges, dishwasher and mini freezer). The comfortable and inviting living room has a Smart TV so please feel free to login to your streaming subscription accounts or help yourselves to a selection of DVD's for your stay. The dining area has a beautiful antique pine farmhouse table and wooden chairs, seating six very comfortably. A high chair and travel cot may easily be provided.

Master Bedroom - There is a super king size bed in the ground floor bedroom made up with no-feather duvet and pillows, sumptuous cotton sheets, quality quilt and throws. The sizeable en-suite bathroom has a large bath and separate shower as well as a loo and basin.

There are two staircases, one leads upstairs to a king sized bedroom with a bathroom opposite and the other staircase leads to a twin-bedded room (no ensuite), ideally suited to children and teenagers. Both of these bedrooms are also made up with no-feather duvets and pillows. Soft, tumble dried bath sheets, hand towels, face cloths and hair dryers are provided for all guests. Please note there is no shower in the upstairs bathroom because of the surrounding beams.

The Barn also benefits from having its own private, solid teak dining table and six chairs immediately outside the cottage.

There is a large shared laundry room with washing machine, eco friendly detergents (compatible with our biodigester) and a tumble dryer available to use at any time for a small charge.

As part of your stay, your cottage will have a welcome basket of locally produced juice, eggs from the farm and biscuits.
