“Property was overbooked so our ONLY option was staying in a dilapidated apartment complex under construction 800 meters away. The only positive thing I can say is that there was hot running water and a front door. No AC, broken stove, no wifi, construction and upstairs noise nonstop.”

“We were greeted with Rosa she was the best helped us with anything we needed! : whether it be dining options or even jus the bus routes or where to buy the tickets she was amazing and the property was awesome views vicinity to town was a short 10 min walk although wouldn’t recommend at night. Room was clean and spacious everything we needed was there. Hot tub was nice after long day looking out over the ocean and the picturesque views of the mountain side! Definitely would go back ”

“I would highly recommend Hotel Zelzar for the budget traveler looking to unplug with beautiful views of the Amalfi. Have WhatsApp downloaded so you can communicate with the property manager, who is extremely helpful and nice. The hotel is located in Benicasa, a slightly remote village accessible only by private car, taxi, or regular bus (the 1 line or the 69, the former which runs every hour at 815; 915, etc and will take you all the way to Salerno centro). There is no grocery store nearby and...

“Enkelt boende men väldigt rent och fräscht. Frukosten var väldigt i enklaste laget, men kompenserades av två olika sorters hembakat fikabröd som serverades till. Hotellets läge var väldigt nära och bra till de mysiga gågatorna i centrum, så vi kan rekommendera detta hotell om man inte kräver lyx och flärd.”

“The room is part of a 2-bedroom mini apartment so you have to go through the main small foyer/living room/kitchen to get to either room. The kitchen wooden floor was warped and uneven thus creating a tripping hazard for anyone. We stayed there 3 days and 2 nights and eventhough we were made aware of the bump on the uneven floors, we still tripped every time we walked in our out of our room. Owner told us that they had steamed the floors and that was the reason for the warped wood creating bumps...

“Stayed overnight as our plane arrived late at night. We did get a little lost finding the entrance , we didn’t realise the keypad was touch activated. But once we were in it was a very nice , simple room , exactly what we were after for an overnight stay. ”

“The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and if you just want to sleep in a quiet room there is nothing wrong with it. The key to enter the floor was difficult to use and I had to work very hard to open the floor door. That's the only negative. Other than that, I have nothing to complain about.”
