“Three generations of our family enjoyed a weeklong stay in Douglas’s beautiful home. The setting is stunning - nestled in the woods on a pond, with plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy, but still close enough to town to enjoy local restaurants, shopping, and other activities. The home was built with amazing attention to detail, with all of our needs anticipated and plenty of space for everyone. Douglas is a responsive and friendly host. We hope to return in the future! ”

“Great location, its a bit of a walk to the beach over a sand dune. The house is wonderful, we had a couple rainy days and ping pong was great entertainment. Awesome to have lots of space. The stairs aren't easy for older folks, but doable. Thankfully we had the main floor bedroom! ”

So many great amenities inside and out (fire pit, small beach, great dock and water toys)! We will book again! Thank you for a great stay! ”

“It was a great getaway. The house and location where amazing. Just a little issue with a few of the games that we were looking forward to using. The oven didn't seem to heat properly when making pizzas the top was done but the crust was still doughy. The only other thing i would suggest is the handicap ramp to get into the property had a piece of wood making it hard to get onto the ramp itself. It was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. ”

“The house is very clean, even with allowing pets. I appreciate that. We had an issue at check-in but it was dealt with immediately. The owners are extremely committed to making your stay the best it can be. The river was up, so it wasn't conducive to kayaking. It went down half way through the week, but we didn't try again. We spent time on the North Shore and explored the state parks. The deck over the river was a great spot for relaxing. The bed is so comfortable. ”
