The home is nearly flawless, with only the slightest imperfections that hardly matter. The views are truly breathtaking, featuring a charming little barn framed by majestic mountains in the background. Every morning, you’ll be greeted by friendly horses grazing in the wonderful pasture. Inside, the home is impeccably clean, with ample bedrooms and plenty of fresh towels ready for your stay.
While the starter kits are a bit basic, everything else more than makes up for it. One thing to note: the house doesn’t have air conditioning or window units—only fans—which means it can get a little warm during the day. It’s completely manageable and exactly as described in the listing, but having a window unit upstairs would be a nice bonus.
Entertainment-wise, the TVs have excellent channel selections, and streaming Netflix is smooth and hassle-free. The country-style décor blends beautifully with the rural setting, where turkeys and deer often wander through the yard, adding to the magical countryside feel.
Check-out rules are straightforward and fair. For guests concerned about stairs, there’s a bedroom on the lower level with its own bathroom, perfect for those who prefer to avoid the steep staircase.
I wholeheartedly recommend this home—it’s a gem that most guests adore. The WiFi can be a bit slow (I needed it for work), but for vacationers, it’s fast enough for all the basics. And as with any country home, you might find a spider or two in the bathtub—just part of the rustic charm (I live in a 100-year-old farm house myself and know the drill).
All in all, a wonderful, welcoming place to experience the best of country living!
