“Eddie was helpful and welcoming from day.1, he allowed us to pay half a day for a late checkout at 6pm for our flight home. Mac’s Shack is clean, tidy with a pleasant outlook. The best snorkelling spot is right across the road. We had an issue with hot water due to a faulty switch, but Eddie had this sorted and refunded us for time without water, very much appreciated. I would recommend this house for families and would definitely stay again ”

“An excellent place to stay. Well facilitated, peaceful, and spacious. Our host Neil was lovely to chat with and gave us heaps of tips about places to eat, things to watch out for and things to do. We nicknamed him "The Oracle of Raro". We'd stay there again without a moment's thought.”

“Having a pool at the acommodation was wonderful, it was so inviting seeing it there every day. Our room had an ocean view which we enjoyed moreso because the aircon was exceptional. The owners were so lovely, giving advice on places to visit and even shared some seafood with us. I would highly recommend this property for a place to stay on holiday. ”

“A very clean and comfortable cabin in a fantastic location, just steps away from Muri Lagoon with a great view. The free kayaks were a big bonus and very handy to use. We did have a slight issue with the washing machine not working, which was the only hiccup, but as it was during Christmas it was difficult to get a technician and the host genuinely tried her best to help. Overall, a great stay and we really enjoyed our time here.”

“Location down a quiet private street was excellent. Size of property was amazing and great value for money. Excellent amount of equipment in the kitchen made cooking easy. Only one criticism, a couple more towels would have been better appreciated, as only 3 normal towels and 3 beach towels were not quite enough at times.”

“On arrival, the bach was very dusty, which didn’t align with the cleaning costs that were charged. The floors needed mopping, the couch was covered in fingerprints, and the jute rugs have seen better days. We vacuumed the house as soon as we arrived.There is a crack in the front door which is a safety hazard, especially as we were travelling with children. The front door does not lock with a key from the outside. It appears the exterior part of the lock has been changed, but the inside is still...

“We spent nearly a month at this wonderful property, and enjoyed it tremendously. We were so sad to leave. The beach really is at the end of the lawn, and it really is as beautiful as it looks in the photos. What a wonderful treat to be able to stroll across the lawn to the beach and into the warm south Pacific ocean to snorkel among the incredible tropical fish.
