“This home was very beautiful and met the needs of our family who flew into the area for a family memorial service, Frustrations with no remote for main tv, continual problem with lock on master bedroom, old dog poop in yard, very loud birthday party next door until 1 am Sat. night were some problems that detracted from our overall stay in this home. “We arrived with instructions to retrieve the front door key from a lock box. We opened the lock box only to find it was empty. We called our host numerous times, emailed and texted. We never got a response. We tried to contact hotels.com with no success. We finally were able to speak to someone at The Evolve Team, which is the company that manages this vacation rental. After numerous calls back and forth they agreed to cancel our booking and begin the process for refunding our money in full. I...

“I enjoyed my week at this beautiful little beach cottage. The views from the back decks and kitchen are stunning. It is a short walk from the beach (though a steep one, so be prepared) and an easy drive to Dana Point and Laguna Beach. The house was well appointed with linens and beach supplies. There is no AC, which was only noticeable during the evening when the bedrooms are in direct sun. Fortunately, the evening were cool and there were plenty of fans to sleep. “Fine little cottage right on the PCH and comfortable walk to Victoria Beach! House had all essentials except for an iron and ironing board. Also, questionable whether or not the bed is actually a king-sized bed as stated on the listing. It was much smaller than anticipated and looked to be the size of a queen. Beside that, the stay was pleasant and met our needs. The communication with caretaker was quick, thorough and helpful. Would recommend this location for future stays. Thank you!”

“Great bungalow for a couple, we also had our adult son. He slept comfortably in the pull out. We stayed in “green”. Nice to have secluded back patio for evening cocktails, cards etc. The front area garden was delightful for morning coffee amidst butterflies. The location was ideal with a short walk to everything. This will be our “go to” when we come back to Laguna.”

“We’ve always been smitten with the island and this lovely historical cottage was perfect for our extended stay. Between the grill with propane ready to go and the modern appliances and the well equipped kitchen,dining in was east and fun. Comfy beds, laundry access, and AC unit were great. John was a very communicative and generous hist - great experience!”

“One of the best rentals we've stayed at on the island. Having designated parking spot makes leaving the island stress-free, although street parking was plentiful. Overall a super comfortable place that was clean and was stocked with everything you need. ”
