Welcome to the Ocean Front Cowibbean Cottage

  • Waking up to the beautiful sights & sounds of the ocean, the birds chirping, the seal lions barking will instantly put you in vacation mode.
    A fully stocked kitchen will allow you to create meals to be enjoyed on the beautiful deck on stilts over the Pacific Ocean. Don’t want to cook? That’s okay too! The community of Cowichan bay with its famous restaurants, pub, ice cream store & an abundance of local shops are all within walking distance. The property has 3 security cameras, one mounted on the front of the house facing the dock, one mounted on the guesthouse facing the front door of the cottage and the final one mounted on a piling looking back at the house to watch the tidal changes. This last camera can be disabled during your stay. These cameras are for secure purposes only and do not impede the privacy of your stay.

This place was fabulous. Loved it. Clean, beautifully decorated. Totally relaxing with beautiful view of the harbor. The kitchen had every utensil and appliance you need. Bedrooms on opposite sides of the bungalow. One with on suite and the other with bathroom outside its door. Cozy sitting area and separate dining room. I can't wait to come back.

Charming cottage with a well appointed kitchen. Gorgeous views from inside the cottage and out on deck. The gas fireplace and heated floors in the bathroom were a definite plus!

The village and the setting on the water were wonderful. The cottage was nicely appointed from the fully supplied kitchen, to the welcoming fireplace and the deck overlooking the Bay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cowichan Bay. I have confidently recommended this VRBO rental to friends.

My recent stay was exceptional, and I was particularly impressed by the high standard of the accommodations. The fireplace and television amenities were excellent, and the quality of the towels was notable. All facilities functioned flawlessly, and the beds provided a comfortable experience. The property's custom design effectively creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. I would certainly consider returning for another stay.

Cozy by the sea. Beautiful inside and out, and everything you need included. We enjoyed the amazing views of wildlife, seals, sea lions, kingfisher, herons, as well as the easy walk to town. We would stay here again.
