“I booked the deluxe double with ocean views...its on the main street overlooking the ocean with a very large balcony so gorgeous for the price...but noisy cars at night. Dont book this room if noise an issue for you...saying that, usually it is for me but I really enjoyed the large spacious room. Simple but all requirements. its just a 7-8 minute walk from the ferry terminal straight along the ocean promenade. But dont expect to see the sign from the main road, as it has a side entry.”

“Charming if slightly jaded hotel on a rocky beach. We picked it largely because of reviews claiming it had very good beach snorkling. Experienced divers and snorkelers will find that it has not. Only a couple of small live coralheads, admitedly a variety of smaller fish but mostly rocks and dead coral. The current can also be strong at times and the site is not ideal for children snorkeling. Annoying water scooters disturb the peace at times. The food is very good "americanized" mexican cooking...

“Lite äldre hotell, har haft sina ”glory days”. Känns som ett stort akvarium, rummen luktade fukt. Men allt är städat och rent ändå. Maten var inget speciellt, frukosten var bra (men hemskt kaffe). Trevlig utsikt nere vid vattnet och trevlig personal. Men främst mycket äldre amerikanare där typ 60+ år…”

“Me and my friend visited Cozumel as the last stop of 4 on a two week trip. We were very happily surprised by villas el encanto. We were welcomed by one of the employed who was very generous to spend a hole hour to give us recommendations for our few days on the island, what to do and where to eat etc! “Excellent stay. Very comfortable room and shared spaces. We rented a scooter a few days directly from the property which was very convenient. Location is a little away from downtown which we found to be more quiet. Felt safe walking around even at night. There are several great food options within a few blocks. Would definitely stay again when in the area. ”
