“A lovely centrally located property which is full of character, from the compact courtyard seating area which was a lovely sun trap in the late afternoons, to the spacious living area and comfortable bedrooms. The host was very attentive and provide comprehensive welcome information and assistance throughout the stay. The town itself is lovely - we wished we could have stayed longer!”

“We stayed for four nights in June and were delighted with the facilities provided. One king size bedroom, one double bedroom and a small room suitable for a child (we brought our own crib for the baby). Small details like the stair gate and a few toys helped too. The patio furniture was well used as we had glorious weather. Staplecross is well placed for exploring Rye. Hastings, local vineyards and National Trust properties. We would like to return next year!”

“This house was perfect for me, my husband and my sister. We were at a lunch party on Haying Island and we were able to easily drive to Sheffield Park in the light. The parking was so convenient and the cottage was extremely well equipped, not that we needed a washing machine. I would unhesitatingly recommend it.
