“We found the hotel comfortable and the location great for exploring San Luis Obispo on foot. The room itself was rather dusty and there were some obvious stains on the wall in bathroom, and although we told the reception about it, it was never cleaned up. The hotel has a breakfast buffet that is quite chaotic. There are not enough seats for all the guests and you have to wait around for a seat while your breakfast gets cold. This hotel is good for families but couples may want to find something...

“We stayed one night at Garden street inn on our road trip down Highway 1, and this is such a lovely place! The room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable, the hotel has a perfect location in the centre of town, and the service is excellent - an amazing home cooked breakfast and tea, coffee and cookies in the lobby. Overall a great stay, we would absolutely recommend to stay here and we’d love to be back! ”
