We had a great experience at The Shores. I got a deal on Black Friday on Expedia and we decided to take our honeymoon here. We checked in on a Monday evening and checked out around 4am on Saturday. We got a oceanfront king room, everything was quite clean. The bed was not very comfortable and the toilet seat was hanging by a prayer, but overall we enjoyed our stay. The complimentary s'mores was a super fun treat, but we only did it our first night. The pool was lovely, but there were visible pieces of trash and clumps of hair near the drains. The beach access was a huge plus for us, and even though the water was cold, it was really nice. We also got a couple's massage in the spa, and it was fantastic! I wish we would've gotten an 80 minute massage instead of a 50 minute massage. The arcade was kinda disappointing, not very many options for games. We also went to their ice cream shop one night, and it was not worth the cost. My cone was poorly filled and we weren't offered any toppings. I really enjoyed the parking lot with the covered walkway, but the price was a bit steep for parking every day. I wish it would've been included in the room price. My biggest complaint is we weren't told where anything is or what amenities were available when we checked in, we were just left to figure it out ourselves.
