Raise your hand if you – like me – would never have guessed that this is… Greece! 🙋‍♀️ It was a steep but not too long hike up the mountains to get to Astraka refuge. We had great weather on the way up but it took a turn for the worse, so we dropped our stuff off in the refuge, had lunch, and waited. My legs were tired and I was so cold in the cabin so I really wasn’t feeling like getting out again to hike a bit more to get to Drakolimni/Dragon Lake but the skies cleared up again so I just couldn’t stay inside. And I was very happy I didn’t because the views were absolutely a m a z i n g. I mean I knew Greece is beautiful but I barely knew there are hikes to be done there, let alone with this kind of views. Trevlig stad värt att besök.
Stannade bara ett dygn. Ett äldre hotell som håller sig väl med dåtidens moderniteter, kan tycka att rumsnumret som lyser på golvet! I mörka korridorer kan vara svårt för äldre personer att se och hitta kanske skulle uppdateras med ljusare korridorer och nummer på dörrar.

Location and service top notch
Fantastic location, right on the beach in the quieter part of Parga. Free sunbeds at hotel. Easy water taxi to Parga center (or a 20 walk). Friendly staff, great service. Stable food offerings, could have been some more snacks variety in the beach bar. Minor thing really.

great location, next to the water. For sure would recommended if you want to avoid the busy Parga. The hotel stuff was amazing. The breakfast was a plus.

Ioannina is the capital and largest city of the Ioannina regional unit and of Epirus. The city's foundation has traditionally been ascribed to the Byzantine Emperor Justinian in the 6th century AD and flourished in the late Byzantine period (13th–15th centuries). Some points of interest, Isle of Lake Pamvotis, Ioannina Castle where Some of the most important museums of the city are located, like the The Municipal Ethnographic Museum is hosted in Aslan Pasha Mosque in the north-east citadel.
