“From the moment we stepped into this adorable cabin, we were impressed. It is so cozy, very clean, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay! It’s very close to everything in Decorah, and we especially loved going to the pool, the Whippy Dip, Mabe’s, and biking on the trail. This was the perfect place to stay while visiting grandparents! ”

“This is such a cute home and the property is beautiful. Sometimes cute equals just ok, but not in this case. It's just so cute.The back porch is amazing and we spent a lot of time out there. The porch faces west, so we saw a couple of beautiful sunsets.There are some minor cosmetic issues, but nothing that detracted from us enjoying our stay.Would absolutely stay again.”

“Clean place and accommodate good numbers of people. Location is also strategic near La Crosse, but you can do fishing, hiking or other things. We are family of six visiting for Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe and a day at La Crosse had a good time.”

“The property was great. We had everything we needed to cook. great spaces. quiet neighborhood. Close to the cave a fun attraction to the area. Would stay there again. ”

“We came to PDC to ride over the 4th of July. This was a perfect spot for us. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was large for doing cooking and the pool on the 90 degree day was wonderful. The Irish pub is an easy walk where they have great food and a super friendly staff. We hope to come again sometime! ”

“This was a lovely, quiet location near the north edge of Decorah where the children in the family were able to enjoy spotting deer and other wildlife, yet we were only a 5-minute drive to city center. The home had just the right spaces for 4 adults and 3 children to spend time together and apart. Our host communicated wonderfully and promptly. We enjoyed pizza at Luna Valley Farm, carry out from Rubaiyat, Impact Coffee, Magpie Cafe, feeding trout at the fish hatchery, beautiful Seed Savers...

“We had a very nice time at The Admiral House. The owners were very friendly and provided all of the comforts you need when staying away from home. We also spent time fishing out on Clements Fishing Barge, which is very close by. ”
