“We had such a nice week at the cottage! Loved the location on the quiet side of the island, especially being able to walk down to the Bass Harbor Lighthouse to watch the sun set. Our boys loved playing in the huge yard. And the cottage was clean & gave us plenty of space to hang out between our outings exploring Acadia.”

“Perfect location on the “Quietside” of the island. We used the cabin as our home base for hikes and exploring Acadia, which is about 30 minutes away. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for unwinding after long days in the park. Diana and C were very communicative and helpful, and we’d absolutely stay again on our next trip. ”

“This house was wonderful! It has everything you need for your stay! Perfect space for six people. ”

“Wonderful experience staying right on the harbor! We were in the area during the busy 4th of July time and loved visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor. The best part was coming back to our quiet hideaway to rest up for our next day of exploring. There was an issue with our heat that was taken care of immediately. HIGHLY recommend this spot--oh, and be sure to check out Echo Lake, which is super close.”

“We had a lovely stay at the Gray Barn Carriage House. It was so quiet and peaceful! The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was large and comfy, and there were plenty of reading nooks and sofas to relax on after a day on the hiking trails. We miss it already.”

“Nicely updated cozy hideaway by Southwest Harbor. Well-stocked, modern conveniences, perfect size for a small family. A pleasant landing spot after each day’s Acadia adventures.”

“We really appreciated having so much space for all the cousins to play in. We were near the Acadia activities (hikes, bikes, and kayaks) and liked being able to walk to town (Southwest Harbor) for lobsters on the waterfront (Beal's Lobster Peal).”

“This is a great place to stay when visiting Acadia NP and Mount Desert Island. We stayed with our four children (ages ranging from 14 to 23) and had plenty of space. The back yard and hot tub were greatly appreciated after hiking days. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, but we also took advantage of local restaurants. Wonderful vacation spot! Also, the hosts were quick to respond to questions.”
