“We had a great stay here! It was quiet, clean, and private, while still being convenient to Acadia National Park. We loved staying on the western side of the island. The host, Becky, was fantastic. She made us feel welcome and went the extra mile when our late arrival meant we got there after the grocery and convenience stores closed. If you’re traveling with children, this house is especially a gem. There were toys and books for kids of all ages. If we come back to Acadia, we’d definitely stay...

“Owls Head is close to Camden but like a quiet retreat location. The home is beautifully decorated and landscaped. Plenty of room for a family or multiple couples. Would definitely return.”

“We LOVED this property!! It is perfectly situated location wise for anything that you want to do in the Acadia and Bar Harbor area. The property was very clean and adorable. So many nice extra touches like the coffee bar and the snacks! There is a great amount of land to walk the dogs on (just not fenced). It seemed like an incredibly safe area, even walking at night. “We enjoyed staying at this site but we had difficulty with the address. I would recommend putting the number 67 on the outside of the mud room door, which would make it much easier to find the location A member of our party had difficulty sleeping on the pull out couch and recommended a thicker mattress. We also smelled cigarettes upon entry into the building but once the door was open for a short time the smell went away. I would definitely stay at this site again when I the area.”

“Quietside Cottage was in a great location, just a short walk to Southwest Harbor (shops and restaurants). The home was fine (sunporch great), but needs some maintenance to make it great. Communication with the manager was very good and their digital guide best I have seen.”
