âWe had a nice 2-night stay here. The price was very reasonable and included a light breakfast which was great. It's a friendly hotel complete with a resident peacock and lovely views. Good value for money.â

Only negative. No air conditioning, but we asked for a fan and we were given a large fan on a stand, which was sufficient.

âA nice hotel for an english country experience. Some parts of the hotel had seen better days, and unfortunately our room was located in one of the more tired parts of the hotel. Getting from reception/restaurant to the room was a hassle with a great number of stairs and hallways. The breakfast and the grounds both were great. âThe room that we were first given was very dusty and looked as if it had not been cleaned for a long time so we were given another room. In this room the heating did not work so we were given a stand alone heater.
The up side was that the gentleman on reception did everything he could to resolve these issues which he did to our satisfaction.
The breakfast was very nice and the service from the one lady that went round like a hurricane doing everything was first class.â

"I stayed at Radisson Blu Manchester Airport and overall, the experience was positive. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The room had excellent soundproofing â despite being directly at the airport, I couldnât hear a single plane, which made the stay calm and relaxing.
However, there were a few issues that brought the impression down. The AC control panel was so worn that some buttons were completely missing, making it impossible to adjust the temperature without improvising with a needle from the sewing kit provided in the room. One of the floor lamps had the wrong type of low-energy bulb installed, which flickered heavily when turned on, so we ended up having to unscrew it. On top of that, there were hairs on one of the shower towels, which is something that simply should not happen at a hotel of this standard.
In summary, the hotel delivered on the essentials â great service, comfort, and impressive soundproofing â but the maintenance and housekeeping details definitely need more attention to truly match the Radisson brand expectations."
