âAmazing hotel in the middle of Galle Fort. Service was one of the best. Extra thanks to Madushan and Petar. We were encouraged to visit the sister hotel, Kurulu Bay. And we had an amazing afternoon and evening there. The food in the restaurant both at the Printers and at Kurulu was the best we have had in Sri Lanka so far.
We will be back! â

âBeautiful place and very friendly and professional people. Nice welcome with cold towel and Mango-juice. The room was clean and with aircondition. I can recommend this place!â
âWir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im The Sun House. Das Personal ist liebenswĂŒrdig und herzlich. Das geschichtstrĂ€chtige Haus wurde aufwĂ€ndig renoviert und hat ganz viel Flair. Die RĂ€ume sind liebevoll dekoriert und alles ist sehr stimmungsvoll. In dieser ruhigen Anlage kann man wunderbar ausspannen und ist in 10-15 min zu FuĂ in der Altstadt. Wir konnten direkt von unserem Balkon aus Affen und einen Falken beobachten. â

âThis is a gem of a place - outstanding service, very clean room and bathroom. The room is small but very comfortable. Nice touch that they had turned on the AC well before my arrival, so the room was cool. The breakfast was exceptional with a variety of options, to include tasty local fruits.
And the price was unbeatable for what I received in return. I wished I had time to stay another night- alas, this was not within my travel itinerary. â
âNormally Iâm not the person who writes reviews. But this hotel really deserves a good review. Its was great staying for me. Great interior design, cozy, clean. Its so close to Galle fort by tuktuk it takes only 230 rupees.
Also staff were really really helpful, kind and caring. I had injury on my foot. They were really careful about this. Thank you Roshan and Banuka!â
âFantastic 150 year old house with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths. One of the most beautiful places we ever stayed. Furnishings are beautiful. Great pool. Great breakfast. Great caretaker, Mohan, also a very good chef preparing dinners for us. The owner stopped by and was extremely helpful.

âWe stayed at the beautiful Ceylon Olive villa with our family, 2 adults, 2 children (9 and 13) for a week during our recent trip and enjoyed it to the fullest. Kumudu and his team were amazing and always friendly, attentive and helpful. For example, our oldest turned 13 during our stay and they provided a lovely celebratory breakfast for her with balloons, decorations and cake.
Eran, one of the staff members, also took on the role as our tuk tuk driver, taking us to beaches every day, and...

"Over priced. Sure, room was clean and location great (but then again any place inside the fort is equally convenient) but the shower only had cold water, there were no windows (so room was dark) and the internet was so slow in the room it was completely unusable. For 150 USD per night I expect a bit more. "
