En oas
Helt plötligt i en av Sanurs många och trånga grander finns en enkel och anspråkslös ingång till hotellet. När vi väl passerade ingången öppnade sig en helt underbar oas som inte kan beskrivas med ord. Helt fanstastiskt vackert, genuint, rent, fräscht och underbar personal samt en av de vackraste pooler jag sett.

Näst intill helt perfekt hotell!
Allt var väldigt bra, lyxigt med egen pool och att personalen kom och gjorde frukost åt oss varje morgon. Perfekt ställe om man vill variera att äta ute eller göra egen mat. Även perfekt om man vill ta det lugnt vid den egna poolen en förmiddag, mycket uppskattat att man kan ta ett kvällsdopp. Några små saker att kommentera: handdukarna var fransiga, skjutdörrarna var lite skeva, det luktade fukt/illa i vissa skåp i köket, köket var lite småslitet samt att wi-fi uppkopplingen var väldigt instabil, dessa små saker sänkte lite av helhetsintrycket. Men vi rekommenderar detta hotell varmt och vill gärna åka tillbaka.

設備、立地やスタッフの対応はとても良いヴィラだった。 食事が良ければ最高な施設 朝食は2種類固定内容もレベルは低い ルームサービス？コーヒーはネスカフェの瓶開封済が置いてあり、中は固まっておりコーヒーは断念したが、朝食のコーヒーはそれを目の前で出された。 現地ではこれくらい当たり前なのだろうが日本人としては食事は諦め、スーパーや外食に切り替えた。 スーパーも近く回りに美味しいカフェやイタリアなど楽しめました！

A peaceful paradise within walking distance to the main shops and restaurants. Couldn't have asked for better staff, so friendly and accomodating. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious with everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Very green and beautiful hotel
Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. Pool for sure a 10+, the restaurant by it was super convenient and food was great and affordable. The staff very helpful and always smiling. The room was clean, and comfortable. The only thing was that the bed was a little bit uncomfortable, but besides that perfect place to stay.

Comfortable, clean and conveniently located
We stayed for 5 nights at Katala Villas and it was just perfect for us. The villas are conveniently located, just a 5 minute walk to restaurants catering for a range of budgets and cuisines (local warungs and Asian and Western restaurants) and also a supermarket, convenience stores and money changers (we used the Money Exchange inside Circle K on JL Danau Tamblingan). The beach is about a 10-15 minute walk. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa, each with own bathroom, walk in robe and safety deposit box. Each bathroom had an outdoor shower, 2 hand basins, toilet and the main suite also had a bath. Outside was a lovely garden, kitchen and living area, day bed under a gazebo and an inviting swimming pool which was about 1.5metres deep (no shallow end, although there were steps at one end). The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, microwave, hot plate, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils so you could self cater if you wanted. Our breakfast was included in our package and the restaurant is also open for lunch (until 5pm). With so many good options available nearby and within the complex, we only used the fridge for refreshments! We also enjoyed lunch at the restaurant twice during our stay. The staff were helpful and friendly and discretely serviced our villa daily as we lazed about. We are happy to rebook again for our next trip.

Een pareltje verstopt in de straten van sanur! Een prachtig complex met mooie suites en geweldige villa’s. Wij verbleven voor onze huwelijksreis in villa 1. Een prachtige villa met een prachtige tuin. Het personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en de manager Mateo is een fantastische vent die je helpt waar die kan om je verblijf op Bali nog aangenamer te maken. Het complex ligt in een straat achter de hoofdweg dus het is wel een klein stukje lopen maar dat vonden wij zelf geen probleem. Ook de sanur night market is om de hoek voor lekkere geiten saté. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.

If you want good service, stay here
Fantastic staff and service. Mateo is a great host. He organised a combined trip to Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida including snorkelling ++ and the top three attractions in NP. We had a 2-bedroom villa with private pool which was great. But sunbathing was a bit reduced because of the high plants shadowing for the sun. But good for some, I guess. We were 4 persons but there are only two sun beds... The villa is a bit off the main road but it didn’t mind us as we like to walk.

Loved the individual bungalows/rooms so no noise from other units. Far enough away from the roads/shops/restsurants to make it a quiet and peaceful location to relax. Bars and restaurants are convenient walking distance. Pool was lovely and quiet. Breakfasts could have been better.

Sanur - something different
Hotel was tucked away from the main road so you don't get the sounds of busy traffic. Hotel grounds were well maintained. My room was upstairs and it had an indoor shower which I prefered. Quiet nights made it good for resting.

Peaceful and very well maintained property.
Staff are so friendly. Property is very well maintained with beautiful gardens that provide a tranquil and relaxing setting for all guests. You feel as if you are the only guest there. Our 6th stay at Katala and we have also had 4 other couples stay and they also loved Katala. We are looking forward to going back in 6 months.

Lovely Suites in good location.
Katala Villas is accessed from a quiet back road. The property opens out to a lovely pool with tropical gardens. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in 2 suites as a party of 2 couples for 9 nights. Rooms are very spacious as is the modern bathroom. We all loved the outdoor rain showers. Toiletries are plentiful and the good breakfasts are cooked to order. The property was quiet and we will definitely stay again. A nice stroll to the main roads to shops, pubs and restaurants. The beach is about 15 minutes away. A taxi costs around A$3 to anywhere on the strip. Take a small torch as stray dogs lie in the narrow road at night although they are timid and won't approach people. We visited Warung De Naksa for drinks and food. The owners are lovely and food fresh, tasty and cheap. Katala Villas lived up to the great reviews which was why we chose to stay there.

Mooie accomodatie op moeilijk vindbare plek
Super mooie grote kamer. Perfect ingericht. Heg bij terras te hoog, wat uitzicht belemmert. Heerlijke buitendouche. Ophalen op vliegveld helaas mislukt, ondanks van te voren geregeld. Zeker half uur gezicht naar bordje met naam accomodatie en onze naam. Volgens directie heeft er wel iemand gestaan ..... Vriendelijk personeel.

Luxury, peaceful home
We stayed at Katala with a family of five and we loved it! The two bungalows we had were very clean and spaceous and looked like they belonged in a high en hotel. The suites were beautifully designed and the bathrooms were very clean and functional, even the outdoor shower. The manager Mateo and his wife and staff were all very professional and made us feel very much at home. No request was too much and he even brought us bananas and ginger from his home village. They helped us plan our trips in and around Sanur. Katala resort is small and cozy, but has a beautiful pool to relax by. It is away from the noisy beach area, but only a 10 minute walk from there and good restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and recommend Katala to both couples as well as families visiting Sanur.

Wow! A small resort professionally managed with the utmost attention to details. The small villa / bungalow is perfectly equipped and decorated. The entire place is pervaded with natural quiet and relaxing / regenerating attitude. Staff is friendly and caring for all your needs, from a welcoming check-in, to delicious breakfasts and tolerant check-out. You will need a transport to get to the beach but you have all basic services like cute family restaurants, laundry and garment alterations nearby. I miss the place already and can't wait to be back.

Suprisingly Pleased
When I arrived at Katale Villas i was sketical because of its location. But behind the exterior was a relaxing, tranquil place to get away and have some peace and quiet. The staff was so very friendly and not overbearing. They really took care of me and made sure all my requests were met. Except, they forgot to send a driver to the airport to pick me up. But that wasn't a problem. You can get a better deal by getting a "Grab" which is similar to an Uber.

Fabulous plunge pool
We stayed for two nights with our 18month old baby and he couldnt wait to dive into the pool everytime he sees it. We were given villa no 4, its a 2 bedroom villa (the other room is locked) I would assume the compund is slightly bigger than the 1 bedroom villa. Location is secluded yet convinient, a short walk to sanur main road. The only gripe i have is the intenet/wifi was very poor to non-existent. Please upgrade this or to take out free wifi in your description. Oh we encountered scary moment when we saw a small centipede crawled out from underneath of our sleeping baby on bed !!! After an hour or so we noticed no bit mark on my baby luckily. But he was crying longer than usual. When i told the reception, she said its due to rainy season. Other than the above, the stay was blissful. Would want to go back at some point in the future.

Un po' di tranquillità anche a Gili T
La casetta che ci è stata assegnata una delle 14 a disposizione resta più defilata rispetto alle altre e quindi più tranquilla. Piscina non molto grande ma piacevole. La colazione non è molto varia e si deve scegliere un menù prefissato. Personale disponibile ma con poca iniziativa. Nel complesso comunque buona situazione tranquilla in un' isola che non si ferma mai.
