Paradise!

We had a group of 10 stay for a friends reunion. It was perfection to say the least. The property was a short walk to the beach even for all of us at 50 years of age. The private beach was clean and had minimal traffic even at peak season. We had the best time with activities, music, and all of the resources to cook extravagant meals. Natallee and Dylan were quick to respond with any questions we had. The beds were very comfortable and the property was very clean. We will stay again. It was a little slice of heaven!

10th annual family vacation

We have stayed in the Dunes of Destin community 9 out of the last 10 years. Our family just kept growing so we needed more beds. Luckily we found “Local Rhythm”. It was a very spacious house which appeared to have been updated recently. Loved the kitchen and had everything we needed for cooking( we are a very foodie family). It was a short walk to a private beach . While we didn’t have a gulf view the house is on a small lake which provides a nice relaxing view. I highly recommend this house for family vacations, just don’t take my week.

My honest review

Although the aesthetics of the home are absolutely beautiful, there were multiple errors in the home. The rooms are well put together, but 2 of the seven rooms had tv’s with errors. In addition to this the cabinet above the microwave was broken, top of the paper towels were broken, the freezer handle on the fridge is broken, the outside water house handle is broken, in the bathroom the shower handle is broken, and the lights flickered in the lower level bathroom that was connected to the bunk bedroom. I contacted the owner about these problems and asked her to send someone. Following this she sent someone to the home between 8:30-9:00pm without notifying me and had two men walk in who failed to notify my family of their initial presence. The two “handymen” brought battery packs to fix the tv and did not fix anything else but instead came back the next day at 11am. When they returned they were unable to tell us resolutions. In addition to the errors the cleanliness was not up to par, as there was an earring on the floor that one of the guests stepped on.

Ladies/Bach Trip

We stayed here for my Bachelorette trip with 16 ladies total and it was perfect! The house was beautiful and spacious with a lot of comfortable beds and bathrooms. The kitchen was even bigger than it looked in pictures which was a pleasant surprise and we loved the long table and tons of seating around the island. We had brunch in the house every morning so that was perfect for us and they also had a ton of seating in the den. The walk to the beach was not bad at all. You would walk that much if you were staying in a condo on the beach. It took us a sec the first night to find the beach access and to remember the codes, but once we got the hang of it, it was fine. We loved the water views and outdoor area. Instead of wrangling the group to go out to dinner, we had a hibachi chef come one night and the back porch area worked great for that. The hosts were so sweet and easy to work with and we could not get over the price and how reasonable it was. It was perfect for us and we have no complaints! Would stay here a million more times 😊

Bachelorette Party

We came stayed here for my bachelorette party! It’s a beautiful home and very roomy. We loved the space and how we didn’t feel cramped. The view was spectacular. The owners responded to our messages right away when we had questions about anything. 10/10!

Encore! Encore!

Everything about this property is AMAZING! The pictures and description do it no justice. This was my first time going to the beach and not having a beach view, but I will say this view definitely trumps any beach view. The lakefront/view is breathtaking and so serene! The walk to the beach is 5 minutes at most, and it's the most beautiful walk you'll ever take. The pool is very close and can be seen from the deck. We had a house full of family, and everyone was beyond satisfied with their rooms and the common areas. We spent most of our time on the deck, we enjoyed fishing for fun, grilling, the neighbors are all very friendly and literally everything is walking distance. We plan on booking this home again, again, and again. Highly recommended!!!!
