“Overall the property was very nice. It was great for a group with adults and teenage kids as there were two masters on the first floor and a hang out space downstairs for the kids. The location and dock for a boat as well as trampoline and second floor dock for jumping were enjoyed by all. Our only issues had to do with the cleanliness not being the best and the lack of some basics like more than one trash bag. The location is very convenient to Bridgewater Marina and shopping / restaurants, the dock was convenient for parking our boat, and the upper dock was a hit with the kiddos!!”

“We had a fantastic time staying in this old log cabin. There are LOTS of amenities and the property is absolutely beautiful. We cooked using the outdoor kitchen and only used the outdoor shower. The porch is facing the lake and it’s so peaceful just sitting there listening to nature. The host was very nice and the check-in/check-out process was quick and easy. Make sure to go down the slide and jump from the swings into the lake. 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend. ”

“My family enjoyed our stay at Shangrila! The house is well stocked and clean. The beds were very comfortable. It was an added bonus to not have to pay for a slip at a marina for our boat! Just walk out, hop on, and go! ”

“My family (children and grandchildren) enjoyed the house for the 2nd year in a row. SML has become our favorite summer destination. It is a beautiful property in a great location. We rented a boat and wave runners for the week but as we travelled with little children the pool is a necessity. I do highly recommend this rental if you are visiting SML just leave me a week in August! Thanks for sharing your amazing home Dennis and Mary Ann”

We caught lots of cats and carp off the bank, plenty of brim and a good size large mouth bass. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.”

“The property was beautiful with a great pool and dock. All ages (84 yrs to 7 months old) enjoyed hanging out by the pool. Playing pool, or sitting out on the covered deck playing games and music. Location was convenient to restaurants and grocery store.”

“Beautiful condo in a great location! We travel annually to Smith Mountain Lake. This condo was very well designed and the hosts were accommodating and attentive. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor living space was great with lots of seating. (we even saw some deer). Easy walk to the boathouses, gym, pool and Bottles and Bites. We don't hesitate to recommend this rental for your stay!”

The living areas were very spacious and we especially enjoyed the screened in porch as we sat in rocking chairs and listened to the rain each afternoon.
