“Stayed here with my husband, our three kids and their friends. Us with 6 teenagers 17-19 years old and not once did we feel like we were on top of eachother. 20 minutes to Laconia, 30 to Weirs Beach and Concord. The boys had a great time fishing off the dock. Within 30 minutes they had hooked 2 fish. The house is very confortable and spaciois. Loved every minute of our time there. Thank you for sharing.”

“Overall we had a really nice stay and enjoyed our time in Barnstead The lights were a bit tricky and would suggest updating the welcome book with clearer instructions. ”

“From the moment we entered the room smelled horrible. Even after spraying the room with disinfectant it still smelled entering each time. We had to open the sliding glass door to air out the room every time. The curtain appeared to have mold on it.The coffee table was not clean. We needed to clean it upon arrival. The WiFi did not work. The floors were sticky. The plates and glasses in the cabinets were dirty. We needed to wash before using. There was not extra toilet paper we needed to...

“House has space galore! Throughout our stay the weather was hot and humid. We were happy to have air conditioning units set up throughout the house. Beware though, be careful not to overload the circuits! This was a family vaca to remember!”

“Location is very convenient - grocery within a 10 min ride, easy access to the Lake, dining, and popular Winnipesaukee villages around the lake. The amenities were generous - including towels and linens at the location, travel shampoo/condition/soaps available, fully stocked kitchen with dish soap and other kitchen tools available. The kitchen is tight and the central artery of the house, which made it difficult with 12 people. I'd recommend bringing a mattress pad or something for the pull...

“We stay. In Alton Bay each year for a couple of concerts at Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford. We extend it by staying for a couple of days at Lake Winnipesaukee The motel is perfectly located close to the venue and on the lake for swimming and boating while visiting BNH Pavilion. “Home was very clean &taken care of. Communication with host was easy with quick responses. ”

“The house smelled horrible; it seems to have a mold problem. Couches were dirty, and the temperature was set to 50 degrees. It took the house two hours to warm up. Limited blankets; we could only find one. We walked downstairs and discovered three unmade bunk beds and a refrigerator full of food. We wondered if people were living there. The stairs only lock from the basement side and there is a door leading to the outside, so that did not feel very secure. I would not recommend this...

However, it is the house that is the winner. Beautifully and creatively designed and fully equipped, with a wonderful kitchen, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. ”
