“The sunsets were amazing, and access to the bike path for running was fantastic. Comfortable furniture for relaxing was sparse. And chairs for eating in the kitchen. Bathroom could benefit from increased space to place toiletries. I am aware this is a newly renovated unit that recently opened as a rental, overall, we had a lovely stay.”

“Not remotely as pictured. Had to go up 2 flights of stairs to reach room. No elevator. No sofas, just 1 old chair. 2 low lumpy twin beds. No bedside tables or lamps. Really bad.”

You really couldn't go wrong with this property. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Kids will thoroughly love the beach park one block away. Your next visit to this area consider this property. You will be satisfied.”

“We usually visit the Newport area once a year since 2000. The cottage, by far, is the nicest place we stayed at. The cottage was clean and comfortable, the neighborhood quiet and the location great. If we had any questions, Lisa answered quickly. Looking forward to coming back again.”

“My wife and I stayed here with our two small children and absolutely loved it. The house was clean and comfortable and the host was extremely thoughtful and responsive. And the view of the water from the living room was gorgeous! We definitely want to stay here again in the future. The location is also great. Whether you want to take a day trip to Boston, or go to Newport, or Providence the house is conveniently located near the highway making it easy to get to multiple places. Route 6 is...

“We went for 1 night, a group of seven women. The beds are mostly doubles so one of us had to sleep on the pull-out couch, but it was comfortable. Middletown is quiet and gorgeous and we especially enjoyed the proximity to Newport. We had some small issues but they were resolved. Overall a very nice experience.”

“It’s an older motel, slightly rundown, slightly shabby. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. The neighborhood was safe and the location was very convenient to a nearby expressway. It was easy to get into Providence RI. There’s a nearby family restaurant with decent food and friendly service. We knew going in that it would not be fancy. We got what we paid for. ”

“Nice view of the river. I arrived at night and was a little disappointed I could not really see the river however the river is just not lit up very well in this area. In the morning it was beautiful view of the river. We enjoyed a cup of coffee on the balcony looking over the courtyard at the river. Would stay again if ever in the area again.”

“The staff was great, the property not so much. Bathroom did not have a toilet paper holder, and the bathroom sink had no stopper to allow filling the sink to shave. The listing did not have the address or phone number for the property nor did it include directions to get there .”

“We were a bit underwhelmed by the property. It was a bit more run down then we expected. Not sure what the issue was but there was police presence when we got there, which was concerning. And not that it was the property’s fault but some of the guests were a bit noisy late at night. It was fine for one night and served it’s purpose, we were only there to sleep.”
