“The property served our needs for a one night stay in Caroga Lake. Finding the place was a bit of a nightmare. We had no wireless service in the area and the host did not provide very good directions. As we had no cell phone service, we could not call the host. We ended up going to the pist office and we were fortunate that a gentleman who was picking up his mail helped direct us to the unit otherwise we would have never found it. “Cons:When we first walked in to the rental the first thing we smelled was the stench of cigarette smoke!!! We bought fragrance spray but didn't work. There were two in window air conditioners that were not sealed. Because of that the rental was infested with mosquitos and other little flying bugs that were attracted to the inside lights and us! “The description and pictures on the listing unfortunately did not match what we encountered. The house appeared clean, beds were comfortable, however that is where the good ends. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with overflowing and stinky trash cans from the previous guests right near the front door. Flies and bees swarming. “Enjoyed our stay at you house on Sacandaga lake. It was roomy with lots of extra amenities. The ac was a plus during our stay as the weather was steamy! ”
