“Charming beautifully decorated cottages. We enjoyed fire place, deck, library, and pottery workshop. There is a delicious healthy breakfast served in the cafe every morning. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We hiked to a nearby village. We will definitely come back. ”

“Lovely location, house was very clean and well presented. Jorge gave us all the information we needed prior to the trip. The house is spacious and was ideal for us as a family of 4 (2 teens). The best bits are a lovely (immaculate )pool, excellent BbQing facilities and nice patio areas. If you are a young family the house and pool are secure, there is a pool room so u can shower kids straight from the day’s activities, pool toys were available during our stay. “Spacious yet cozy with a cabin feel inside. Great location with beautiful hiking trails (caution: very challenging even though labeled moderate). Great for older kids but staircases lack railings so would be unsafe for younger kids. Beautiful house with lovely garden and pool. Good communication with host.”

“Beautiful villa, very well equipped, lovely family who were so helpful throughout our stay. Despite the very high temperature outside the villa stayed lovely and cool. Nice small shop 3 min walk away with many of the staples. Coimbra is a great town 25 mins away for days and nights out, great restaurants and supermarkets. Def need car to get about. ”

“Une nuit passée dans ce logement.Parfait pour un court séjour.Terrasse en face de la chambre très agréable. Par contre la chambre est au dernier et 4 eme étage et les escaliers sont raides. ”

“Staff were very nice. Rooms were simple but effective. Heating was working (some reviews dud not understand that there was a switch on the side as well as he temp control.) hot water also good. Fridge, basic cooking equipment plates etc. Bring a corkscrew and a small coffee percolator if you need them. Towels and bed sheets with a duvet all clean etc. ”
