“The property was exactly as it was described. It is a perfect retreat for two people. They owners literally thought of everything you could possibly need and fit it beautifully into a small space. We particularly loved the two decks and the firepit backing up to a beautiful wooded area. It was a very nice retreat to come home to after exploring the area during the day. The owners were quick to answer any questions and to provide information on the area.”

“Peaceful, beautiful property, nice walking path, lots to explore. We saw deer, squirrels, woodpeckers, birds, beaver/muskrat, and some fish. Stories & s'mores around the firepit each night. Fished by boat and canoe. Also kayaked. Great kitchen area and outdoor grill. Had foosball champion competition, played games, watched movies, went to Mercer for fish fry, explored by boat and on foot. Great weather, no mosquitos till last night of stay. Lots of family bonding.”

“Overall impressions in these categories: House: Beautiful. Big enough for our group of 13, kids and adults. Kitchen is more than great. Screened porch is better than good. Dining area large enough we could all eat in the same area. Rec room including table tennis was used a lot.Water: Fishing was slow but that's no one's fault. Kayaks were used a lot everyday. “Summerhaven was a very cozy Up North experience, and the cabin is in a great location on Lake Lost and was very spacious and comfortable. Jeff was great host he was very easy to talk to and was available throughout the entire trip. The dock was easy to tie up our rental pontoon and we enjoyed our time at Summerhaven and Lost Lake!!!”
