“My husband and I stayed for a few days while we passed through Kentucky. It was plenty of space for just the two of us. The desription of the cabin said off-grid, generator for a/c and power, and small so we were not expected much but we were surprised at how comfy everything was. There is a couch, small table, and a sink. Not enough room to cook in there and no microwave. But we went out to eat each meal so that wasnt a problem. “We booked this stay to enjoy the beautiful Cumberland lake area, fishing and exploring. EVERYTHING was just perfect the host was in constant communication with us and responded to our needs, the cabin was in the perfect location at the end of the road through our own gated safe community, we loved the hot tub, the game area and the whole cabin. We rented a pontoon and stayed out on the lake fishing and swimming, then ended the day with some yummy local food! My family will cherish these...

“We came in town for a surprise birthday party and this home was perfect for our whole family. The home has an amazing view of the lake and was stocked with everything we needed. The host was very responsive and even left a small gift to help us celebrate. The hospitality was greatly appreciated and my family had such a special weekend celebrating together. “From start to finish this was an excellent stay! The home was clean, roomy, and perfectly situated for our stay. The view from the deck and the sunroom was perfect. I enjoyed the early morning peace sipping my coffee taking in the view of the sun coming up over the hills behind the lake. Everything was just as shown in the listing (or better) and the owner was quick to respond when we had a question. We look forward to our next stay! ”

Views of lake obstructed by trees but that seems to be the case for most homes on this lake. Easy access to gas, groceries, etc.. and marinas were just a short drive away.
