We had a power outage our first night and Gary stopped in to check that we were okay and see if we needed more batteries for the provided lanterns. Just a note, when the power is out, the wifi obviously goes, too, and cell service though both Verizon and AT&T is nonexistent until you get closer to the gas station on 44 and 52. “Was able to hit the road and hit northern trails and southern trails as well as some outlaws near dingess! Property was decent and owner is making additional parking for trailers!”

“We stayed here for a family event. Ages of our group range from 83 to 17. Our hosts were so welcoming and beyond hospitable. Their house was very clean and located close to everything we needed. The street is quite peaceful. We enjoyed the personal touches at this location and appreciated the handicap accessibility with the ramp and walk-in shower. I would definitely recommend! ”

“This house was great!! Extreamly clean and so comfortable!! It was easy to get to. Owners were so nice and quick to answere any question you may have. We will definitely be staying there anytime we are in the area.”

“We stayed here while riding the Hatfield and McCoy trails, and it was absolutely perfect! The place was clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for everyone in our group to relax after a long day of riding. It was exactly what we needed—comfortable, convenient, and welcoming. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but work called us back. Highly recommend for anyone planning a trail trip in West Virginia!We will be back to stay again!”

“House was very clean and had everything we needed. Host was very nice and helpful. She even decorated the yard for my birthday. Nice big driveway to park the trucks and trailers. Highly recommend this place if you're coming to ride the HMT trails. ”

“Our trip was great! The house felt like our home away from home. They had everything we could’ve needed! It was a great home base for riding the Bearwallow trails. The road up to the house is a little narrow but no issues if you take your time. Most people are nice and move over as far as they can. Everyone was very friendly and we had some good conversations. “We truly felt like we were at home, from the second we walked in. Danny and Sheila are wonderful people. We had everything we needed and more. Sheila, the cabin is absolutely beautiful and you have thought every single detail out. I will never stay anywhere else when I come home. I slept like a baby and the cabin is very peaceful. Maybe next time, we will be able to fish longer and not get rained out. We will be referring your cabin to all of our friends and family. May God bless you both! ”

“Hosts treated us like family! Place was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Beds were great, had all the essentials, and was right on the river. Covered porch and side porch were great to relax on when the rains came thru. Overall great stay here, and would absolutely book again! Elisha is one of the best hosts I've ever interacted with! She helped us out with a number of things that came up on our end and went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of! ”

“If you are there for trail riding, this location is perfect! It is also very close to gas stations, fast food places and stores. Cabin was very clean and it was so nice to have two bathrooms. We used the grill and gas fire pit which was a great addition to the cabin. Plenty of parking. Communication with the owner was great! I would definitely stay here again! ”

“Property was as described but the description about plenty of room for parking was misleading. We had a 44 ft fifth wheel and without expertise driving you won't get your rig near the house. The turns are too sharp and tight in either direction of the road. We had to go past the road up to the hospital on the top of the hill all the way around to get the rig turned around to come back down the hill to get up the the road to the front of the house. When we left we had the back back down the road...

“Our stay was great!! The owners were right next door and was very accommodating. It’s behind the bowling alley which was a win. The house was fantastic. It’s was super clean and had plenty of towels. It’s located very close to buffalo mt trail system. All in all it’s was the perfect place to stay. ”
