“Perfect little spot for a stopover for a night or two if you have a long drive up or down 95. My wife and I stayed there with our puppy. 2 miles to 95 and everything was walkable. Friendly neighborhood and very close to the water. Bungalow was very clean and had what you needed for a short stay. A great alternative to getting a hotel.”

“This was a great place to stay especially if you have a bike and kayak. We drove and biked through the refuge and enjoyed it more on the bikes. We did a short kayak trip on Harris Neck Creek at high tide and it was beautiful. We will definitely be coming back!”

“The beautiful home was very cozy and in quiet neighborhood. The adults, kids and grandkids all enjoyed the fishing, catching blue crabs and watching the dolphin. Definitely recommend this home for fun and relaxation.”

“This is our second time staying at Oaks of Eden. It is well-named - the live oaks at the property and forest nearby are spectacular and full of birds. The cottage is very comfortable, laid out well, everything one would need is there, and the back porch is screened. The only poorly functioning item was the coffee maker, which took more than an hour to brew a pot of coffee. ”

“Everything you’ll need for a great stay is on site! Very clean and well equipped house, beautiful view and my son loved the dock for fishing. Nieces loved paddle boarding in river, dock with steps made getting into and out of my kayak easier for an old lady like me!”

“The property was in a lovely spot on the marsh and was open and comfortable. There was plenty of space for 3 couples and we really appreciated the willingness of the host to let us use bicycles, kayaks, and binoculars. We enjoyed exploring the nature in the area and opted to go to the beach within an easy drive since our weekend turned out to be so warm. A lovely stay!”

“Everything about this place is done with excellence. The furniture is comfortable and thoughtful. The beds are so comfortable. The bedding and towels are all cotton, fresh and abundant. The back porch furniture you can spend hours on and the jacuzzi is well maintained and very large.
