“We had a good stay overall. This is a home at the end of an inlet with a small pier facing the creek. It had a pretty backyard. It is close to other homes but that was okay for us, although some more window treatments in the kitchen and facing the back would be a good option. Home was recently renovated/updated with new kitchen and furniture. Nicely styled/decorated like in pictures. Pictures on listing missing a third bedroom and the second bathroom. Only concern was that some areas were not...

“We were able to stay a long weekend with our family that now has all young adults. Loved the house - it was the perfect size for the 5 of us, and had everything we could need. Dock was amazing for watching the sunrise and sunset, and Cape Charles was a quick drive for dinner and some shopping. Hope to come back for a longer stay!”

“Key Cottage was charming and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were standout fabulous - modern, great water pressure, and spacious. The house is well stocked with just about anything you can imagine needing. We loved the location, on a quiet corner in the cute village of Irvington with so much to walk to and do. The only problem we had was getting into the lockbox when we arrived, but they arranged for someone to run down and help us out. ”

“We had an absolute blast over Memorial Day weekend! The house was the perfect getaway — peaceful, relaxing, and full of little adventures. The pier was a highlight for us. We caught 3 stingrays, 2 eels, fish, crab, and even oysters — such a fun variety that kept us on our toes!It was also such a treat to bring our dogs along and include our fur family in the fun.
