“The house has a very large open living room upstairs, plenty of bedrooms for us. The backyard is large, although most of it fairly steep slope towards the lake. The lake was up several feet when we stayed, so the beach in the photos was under water. Pella is a 7-8 minute drive away. Overall we liked the property.”

“Everything was wonderful about this place. We loved it and would absolutely stay here again. Clean, well stocked, and charming. ”

“We had our kids/ grandkids coming and going through the week. Spacious rooms. Laundry on site so we could do sheets and towels between rounds of kids.Everything in Pella was within walking distance, and the marina was an easy drive. The kitchen had great cookware and ample serving space .”

“The pictures don't do this place justice. The house is clean, spacious, and has everything you need. We loved sitting on the huge deck and took advantage of the very clean, heated pool. The host was very responsive to our questions and needs. The only suggestion would be putting some darker curtains on the windows in the upstairs bedrooms, the sun had us up pretty early. Overall this was the perfect place for our girl's weekend and we would definitely stay again!”

“We stayed 3 nights while in area fishing Lake Rathbun. Kept our boat at the marina which was only about a 10 minute drive. House was clean, updated, and AC worked great as temps were mid to upper 90’s. Beds were comfortable and property had all the needed amenities. Highly recommend. ”

“We really enjoyed our vacation! The pool and the pontoon we rented were the best! The house was nice . Struggled with the hot water, the kitchen wasn't really fully stocked. I would have brought things had I known. I hated having to drive to get more supplies, more toilet paper, kleenex, cork screw, more garbage bags. Things that should have come with the rental! We all loved the pool and fire pit. The house was clean and plenty of room.”

“This was the absolute cutest place! Tim and Kathy didn’t cut a single corner—every detail was thoughtfully done. It’s spacious, cozy, and full of character. The cherry on top? Their incredible hospitality. We felt so welcomed and cared for!”
