“Absolutely incredible place. Check in was a bit weird because you need to check in at Hotel Kanazawa and only then proceed to this place. I missed the email where they said that and ended up having to walk all the way back to the station to check in at this other place and then back. They explained that in Japan by law check-in needs to be done face-to-face and since there is no reception on this place, that’s why you’re unable to do it here. Regardless, I would definitely stay here again...

“Wonderful apartment with more modern amenities than expected. Full kitchen, nice bath area (wet room with tub, separate from vanity area) & toilet in separate room. Washer/dryer. Loads of towels. Very efficient use of space, comfortable for 3 adults. Lots of restaurants nearby (izakaya just steps to the left, sushi across the road).”

“Very nice stay at this house. Felt like a traditional house and exactly what we were looking for. It’s walkable to Kanazawa’s attractions and to food places. Only gripe is there were some small stains in the Washitsu room. Still clean, I just noticed those stains were there. All in all, a great place to stay at. Check in and out were super easy”

“A clean, efficient unit, much like a small apartment. Has a stove top, microwave and small kitchen to prepare simple meals or heat up things. About a 10min walk to the train station and a short wall to a bus stop and family mart. It is a walk up so you will need to climb stairs to your unit. The bathroom is like new and the bed is comfortable. ”

“Location, location, location! The property is located near all tourist locations. 25-30min walk from train station. 5-10 min from castle, gardens and samurai district. There is a beautiful shrine across the street. You’re also less than 5 min walk from the Omicho fish market. The staff were attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend it.”

“A really great place to stay. Very spacious with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. It is a true one-bedroom unit with plenty of room. The Chromecast on the TV is a great touch because you can stream any content off your phone if you don't speak a Japanese. We really loved staying here.”
