“Even though the weather wasn’t great during our stay, the home was perfect! Tied our 20’ boat up to the dock, great water access to fish, and the screened porch allowed us to still be outside regardless of the heavy thunderstorms during our stay. “Had a great time swimming, skiing, tubing, kayaking at this property. House was perfect for us. Decor was very nice and kitchen has everything we needed. We really appreciated how well supplied it was. Two refrigerators was nice so we didn’t have to grocery shop so often. We loved the blackstone and grill as we cooked out every evening. The owner was very responsive to our questions. We definitely look forward to returning to this property again. ”

“Wonderful cottage tucked away in a cove off of the main lake. Stocked with all of the things you need while you’re away from home. We throughly enjoyed the property and all of the amenities. If you are looking for the perfect weekend away with your family, friends and furry companion this is the place for you. Katie was a wonderful host and very responsive. Our week was perfect and we look forward to coming back. ”

“We had so much fun at this house. Probably one of our best vacations! The house was perfect for our needs. It has a shallow area great for kids but also deep enough at the dock to jump in. The shallow swimming area is shaded in the afternoon which saved us (heatwave that week). The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked there most nights. We even caught some decent size fish from the dock. We truly had a great time!”

“Just spent another amazing week at Tropical Paradise with friends and family. The location is perfect being close to Washburns marina for the younger kids daily milkshake runs and off the main lake just enough to float all day peacefully! The game room and loft area is perfect for kids ranging from 6-26 and never feels overcrowded. The owner is amazing and checks in frequently to make sure all is well. We are already planning next summers trip to Tropical Paradise again! ”

The moment that I walked down the walkway from the car to the porch, I got actual goosebumps when I saw the panoramic view of the lake. “The property was just as it was in photos as in person. It is in a quiet area, little traffic, just what you want when you want down time and no drama! Fun areas to explore. Went to Lake Gaston Coffee, awesome scones and coffee. A very nice selection of wines for a coffee shop. Had dinner at Waterview in Littleton. Not far from house at all. Food was great. "Service was very good. Hotel room is one star level in reality. Bottom of door unsealed, all outside noise is a part of room. Loud. Moldy scent in room due to AC not being cleaned. Bed mattress metal squeeky no matter how much or little you move on it. Surprising to see any Wyndham brand to this experience, 1 star hotel in comparison."
