“Although there is no indoor bathroom, the outhouse was more than adequate for folks who camp. The bed was comfortable, the host had the cabin warmed up and greeted us in a friendly manner and was happy to show us around their Alaska homestead. I would definitely recommend this spot as long as you don't mind some road noise”

“This was a beautiful cabin to stay in while in Valdez. It has all the amenities and is beautiful craftmanship. A home away from home.”

“Our stay at the cabin was brief, but was exactly what we needed. It was clean, comfortable and provided facilities to fix our meals and prep for our shuttle to Kennicott and overnight stay there. It was so very convenient that the shuttle picked up at the property and that we were able to leave our car overnight. I had so many questions and the host was very responsive. It was great meeting the owner upon our return and we truly appreciated the gift they sent us on our way with ;) Thank you! ”

“Very spacious and clean facility for our family of 4. The advertised place is in the basement of the dome house (not the dome) and host lives upstairs. They allow usage of the upstairs fireplace and grill outside. Very warm and considerate host. Glad we stayed here. ”

“We love spending labor day at this camp! The views are amazing. The property is great to use for adults and kids. There is so much exploring to do all around. ”

“Family from Fairbanks and Anchorage met up to stay here for three days during the Valdez Fly In. Loved having the large dining table / bar area to enjoy preparing and eating our family meals. The beds were comfortable, lots of room for everyone. Great neighborhood. Wonderful communication with the owner. We hope to stay here again! ”

“This is a cute little cabin. As with cabins, there is a certain smell, sap drippings while it cures and can hear everything between floors. It was great having two bathrooms, one on each floor however only one roll of toilet paper was provided for a week. There were plenty of towels with an extra closet full. Mattresses were older with lots of wear and tear on a metal frame, so not comfortable. Only a few extra blankets, but there is a heater that works great heating both floors. Washer and...
